Antique Victorian Outstanding Quality Burr Walnut Marquetry Inlaid Ormolu Mounted Bookcase Display Cabinet. This most superb quality Victorian burr walnut marquetry satinwood inlaid display / pier cabinet having a wonderful burr walnut top with gilt metal under with lovely marquetry satinwood inlay of flowers and leaves. Under having two arched shaped glazed doors all having superb satinwood inlay of flowers and leaves edged with gilt metal detail and decorative key escutcheons flanked either side by wonderful gilt metal. The interior has been relined having two shelves with line inlay to the front of the shelves. The whole piece stands on a lovely shaped base with gilt metal decorative edge.
